Registration Questions From South Carolina
Do I need to register my emotional support animal in South Carolina?
No. Neither South Carolina nor federal law has a registry for emotional support animals. A landlord may ask for documentation that verifies a disability and a disability-related need, and a registration number does not do that.
Is an ESA certificate valid in South Carolina?
