Terms
Terms of Service
These terms govern use of National Service Pets websites, accounts, evaluations, payments, documents, verification tools, and support services.
Clinical review required
Submitting information or paying for a package does not guarantee approval. Licensed professionals determine whether documentation is appropriate.
User responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, use documents lawfully, keep account access secure, and avoid misrepresenting an ESA as a service dog.
Payments and refunds
Prices are shown before checkout. Refund availability depends on the service status, clinical outcome, duplicate charges, and applicable policy.
No legal advice
Information on the website is educational and does not replace advice from a lawyer, clinician, landlord, airline, or government agency.
Service boundaries
Documents must be used for their intended purpose.
ESA letters are for housing accommodation requests. Optional cards and certificates are convenience documents and do not create rights beyond the underlying clinical letter and applicable law.
Account accuracy
The review depends on truthful information.
False identity, animal, housing, or health information can affect eligibility, document validity, refunds, and account access.
Operational terms
What users should expect from the platform.
Delivery estimates depend on completed intake, provider availability, and any follow-up requests.
Approved documents are delivered through account and secure digital workflows.
Service policies may be updated to reflect legal, clinical, payment, or operational changes.
Full terms
The detailed agreement
The summaries above describe how the service behaves. The clauses below are the terms you actually agree to when you create an account, complete an intake or purchase a plan.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 to open an account. A parent or legal guardian may open an account on behalf of a minor and acts as their personal representative for the evaluation.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login credentials secure. Documents are delivered to your account, so access to it is access to your records — use a unique password and enable two-factor authentication where offered.
What the service is
National Service Pets coordinates access to licensed mental health professionals who evaluate whether emotional support animal or psychiatric service dog documentation is clinically appropriate, and administers the secure workflow around that review.
We are not the treating clinician, we do not operate a registry, and we do not train, test or certify animals. Optional cards and certificates are convenience records with no legal effect.
Clinical independence
The reviewing professional exercises independent clinical judgment. Neither the company, its support staff, nor your payment can direct a clinician to issue a document.
A clinician may approve, decline, request further information, or recommend a different form of care. Declining is a legitimate professional outcome, not a service failure.
Fees, payment and refunds
The eligibility screening is free. Plan prices are shown before checkout and are charged as one-time payments — there is no subscription attached to a letter, and renewals are a separate optional purchase.
Refund and cancellation terms are presented before you pay and govern what happens if a clinician declines after payment. Chargebacks raised without first contacting support may delay resolution of a case that could have been settled directly.
How issued documents may be used
An issued letter is personal to you and to the animal it names. It is intended for a reasonable-accommodation request or, for a psychiatric service dog evaluation, to support a disability-related need where documentation is requested.
You may not alter, forge, resell, share or reproduce a document for anyone else, and you may not present an emotional support animal letter as conferring public-access rights it does not carry.
Verification
Issued documents carry a route allowing a housing provider to confirm authenticity and the issuing professional's credentials. Verification returns no clinical information about you.
We may suspend verification for a document we reasonably believe to have been altered or misused, and we may decline to confirm a document that did not originate from this service.
Truthful information and prohibited conduct
A clinical review is only as good as what it is given. Providing false, incomplete or another person's information may result in a declined case, a revoked document, or account termination without refund.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, state of residence, or the animal
- Do not attempt to obtain a document for someone else under your account
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer or disrupt the platform or its systems
- Do not use the service to harass staff, clinicians or other clients
Intellectual property
The site, its written guides, page designs, templates and branding are owned by National Service Pets or its licensors. You may read and share links freely; you may not republish substantial portions of the content as your own. Your own clinical information remains yours and is governed by the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided without warranty that any particular third party — a landlord, HOA, university, employer or airline — will accept an approved document. Their decisions are their own.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages is excluded. Our full position is set out in the Disclaimer, and nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes, termination and governing law
These terms may be updated as the service changes; the current version is always published here, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Disputes are governed by the laws applicable to the company, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
